This monthly get together is an easy way to maximize your membership and get to know other SMPS members. Each month we’ve chosen a topic with the goal of sparking discussion, and sharing lessons learned and best practices. This event is free for members and your first drink is on us. In addition, if you have a friend who is interested in learning more about SMPS, please bring them along!
This month's topic is Building a Powerhouse Marketing / BD Team—Whether You’re a Team of One or a Team of Twenty - Core competencies every team must own. Topics include:
- Micro-team (1–2 people): prioritization strategies, tools that multiply capacity, outsourcing smartly, and setting boundaries.
- Mid-size teams (3–7 people): role specialization (proposals, BD, digital, content), managing workflows, cross-training.
- Large teams (8+): building departments, introducing leadership layers, using data to guide resourcing.
1 CPSM CEU is available for this program.

Policies
Substitution Policy
Any substitution to a Member exclusive event will be charged a $100 fee.
Walk-in Policy
To ensure we can comfortably accommodate all attendees, anyone who registers after the deadline will be charged an additional $10 walk-in fee.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
Cancellations made 48-hours/2 days prior to the event will be fully refunded. Due to our commitment with the meeting facility for food and beverage quantities, all other cancellations or no-shows will be invoiced for the full cost of the event. In the event the registrant is unable to attend, another individual from their firm can attend and the attendee will be expected to pay-at-the-door any applicable cost difference (ie: member vs non-member).
