SMPS St. Louis is seeking qualified and energetic volunteers who want to take a leadership role in developing and advancing the Chapter’s education, networking, and business development opportunities for its members. If you are interested in working with current and future leaders in marketing and business development in the A|E|C industry, serving on the Board of Directors might be a good fit.
The Nominations and Elections Committee of the St. Louis Chapter of SMPS is now accepting nominations for positions on the Board of Directors for the term beginning September 1, 2021. All Board members are required to participate in monthly Board meetings and are expected to conduct monthly meetings with their committees as necessary to successfully meet their respective goals. A position on the SMPS St. Louis Board of Directors can:
- Build your leadership and communications skills.
- Enhance your company’s image within the industry.
- Provide you with a positive, career-building experience.
- Give you the opportunity to share your knowledge and skills in support of a local, professional organization.
- Create valuable and lasting connections with people across the industry.
- Make industry networking an easier task.
- And so much more!
Nominations are now open for the following positions. Self-nominations are welcomed. (one-year position, unless otherwise noted below):
- President-Elect (three-year position)
- Treasurer (two-year position)
- Secretary (two-year position)
- Programs Director
- Communications Director
- Membership Director
- Education Director
- Sponsorship Director
- Director-at-Large
Nominations are due by 6:00 PM Thursday, April 15, 2021.
