At iSuite, Matthew manages the websites, social media and a large portion of the content creation for all four IMI companies: icon Mechanical, iENG Design, Eagle Controls and iSuite. He also coordinates and gathers content across the companies, including photography and video, helping showcase the company's people, projects and culture through a variety of marketing channels.

I was excited to find an organization focused on the highly specialized niche of marketing within the AEC industries. It seemed like a great opportunity to learn from others in similar roles, expand my industry knowledge, and better understand all of the moving parts that contribute to successful marketing in this field.

I’ve attended several coffee chats, a few networking happy hours, and an InDesign class. Through these experiences, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of the industry, learned about tools and strategies other marketers use to succeed, and built meaningful professional relationships with people throughout the AEC community.

I hope to continue growing my knowledge of the AEC industry, expand my professional network, and eventually help others who are just beginning their careers in this unique and rewarding corner of marketing.

I’ve always been interested in architecture and the built environment, but I didn’t originally set out to work in the AEC industry. My first job after college happened to be with an AEC company, where I worked in both B2B and B2C marketing. As I learned more about the industry and the impact these projects have on the communities around us, I realized it was a field I wanted to continue being a part of.

What excites me most about my work is the opportunity to showcase the incredible projects our companies are involved in and help others understand why they matter. Not every marketer gets to create content about something tangible and then see it built in the real world. I enjoy telling those stories through photos, videos, websites, and social media. I also appreciate that iSuite encourages growth, embraces new ideas, and gives me the opportunity to continually develop my skills while working on a wide variety of interesting projects.

It would probably be either Robin Williams or Steve Irwin. Robin Williams because of his incredible creativity, humor, and unique perspective on life. Steve Irwin because of his passion, enthusiasm, and ability to inspire people to care about the world around them.

I would probably learn a new language, such as Spanish or Italian. I enjoy learning about different cultures, and being able to communicate with more people would open up new opportunities both personally and professionally.
